- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have flat-rate pricing for tax returns and an hourly rate for business and accounting services. We can also negotiate flat-rate contract services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually we have a call to help me understand your business and processes, determine what your most urgent needs are, discuss various options and timelines for solutions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have both private industry and public company experience. I worked in the Finance department of a private company that started in the owner's garage, grew from $40 million to $180 million in annual revenue during my time there, and eventually went public. As the most senior staff accountant, I was able to work in every area of the business, including: * With outside consultants and investment bankers on business valuation, re-organization, brokering business sale to public company * Internal and external auditors * Complex analyses and diligence requested by potential investors * Litigation support * Financial institutions to secure lines of credit and bridge loans * Inventory management and accounting including audited year-end physical inventory * Oversaw budget process for the biggest company departments * Supervised the purchasing side of the business * Assisted IT with third party software and platform integrations and developing in-house solutions * General month-end closing tasks: account reconciliations, accruals, inter-company transactions, financial reports, ad hoc reports, etc
