Thank you for visiting my profile! I’m Olga and I was born in Gdansk Poland. My artistic journey started at the age of 3. I saw a need for art everywhere -in my mom’s recipe books, walls and every doll’s face was in need of improvement. At the age of 8 I started private art classes. Going forward I got admitted to my dream high Art school in Gdynia, Poland where I learned many great techniques and old school art. Painting was always my favorite. In 1999 I decided to move to USA and have been here ever since. I left my footsteps in a few states in form of many murals, portraits, paintings, illustrations and happy students whom I taught painting and drawing. I studied Fine Art at Florida Atlantic University, Florida. I make art and teach art. It is difficult for me to focus on one and only trade. Besides traditional drawing and painting I love to upcycle furniture, work with tiles and stones, paint faces and make jewelry …..therefore the name Goatrades was born …..kind of like “Jack of all trades” but instead: “Girl Of Art Trades”. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing highly depends on the project- its size, medium, time and distance to the client.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to learn as much as possible about client's ideas, needs and desires, size and nature of the project. If the client needs any suggestions I'm more than happy to provide them. I really appreciate detailed photos of potential walls or furniture that is to be fixed or up cycled. As we proceed I require 30 to 50% deposit upon starting the project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Most of it is a gift from heavens, that I have been "polishing" throughout my life. I have a degree from National School of Fine Arts, Gdynia Orlowo, Poland and BA Fine Arts - Florida Atlantic University.
