- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Painting in the Tampa area will run anywhere between $.60-$2.00/sqft- project dependent. Material and Labor costs for a project will vary based on the following factors. 1. Number of Coats Needed 2. Any texture removal or addition 2. Condition of Surfaces to be painted 3. Amount of detailed line work (doors, trim, base, windows, etc.) 4. If a space is occupied or not 5. Actual Square Footage of Surface to be Covered If a pro is offering a fixed price without taking a look, or without taking these things into account when they are onsite with you- these should be red flags! And, like anything in life, you often get what you pay for, not only in quality of work, but character of the worker.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our interactions will typically follow this: 1.Introduction- we provide an initial quote for average project values as described by customer. Review and talk as needed via thumbtack. 2. Discovery- speak with customer and conduct a site visit and consultation as necessary. In this step we will whatever support the customer needs to make scope, design, and paint choices. As well as, confirm scope to include actual square footage, and damage level (if any). Provide final pricing. 3.Confirmation- will always confirm scope, compensation, and timelines in writing. Depending on project scope we can confirm this via text, email or short order contract. 4. Booking- once confirmed we will schedule the work and get started!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Stephen-10 years of professional painting experience both commercial and residential. Hundreds of thousands of square feet painted, single story homes to 30 story highrises. Devin-5 years of business administration and 2 years of construction management experience. Suzy- 35 years of custom art.
