I was told that they charge 20-30% less but he attempted to charge me 100 dollars more than other companies. I gave him the exact model number and all of my dryer and when they got here he said it was a difficult dryer so it was going to cost more. They tried to charge me 229 dollars for parts and labor. I needed two parts one was $12.54 cents and the other was $7.59 cents they attempted to charge me 200 for labor that only takes 30 minutes. I called other appliance company’s and they were going to only charge 20 for the parts and then 85 for the labor and all. I’d save my money and go else where. Not only that but I waited all day just to be put off till the next day.

They quoted a price for specific amount of products and only provided half of what was quoted. Then told me I will be getting a refund of $40 which I have not received yet. It's been 2 weeks!

We have never been to this persons home. Furthermore we do not give out quotes over the phone or discount the $40 service call. Thumbtack customers go out to every appliance repair service regardless of whether we accept the job or not. Unfortunately this person has the wrong company entirely. 😕

What a scam. Lied about the pricing. Tried to charge $300 more than the other guy. They were trying to charge $160 just for showing up. Terrible company.

Absolutely false. Disregard this review please. First off we were ripped off. Told to get the F out and he threw $40 at us. Thumbtack has been made aware of this and we are going to be paid. I spoke to the customer. They as well as every single customer knows exactly what our charges are before we show up. $40 service call fee + parts and labor. $79 diagnostic fee if no repairs are done. It says it in our ad $119 if no repairs are done. Not $160. We are still owed $79.00 because he scammed us.
