I've been filing my taxes for over 25 years now. And Karen is the best tax professional I have had. I was looking for a tax professional that was patience and that could find me more deductions and credits. Because in the past the other one's always just seemed like they were doing the minimal and wasn't thoroughly looking to get me the best refund. I search on the website and found Karen. She had all good reviews, so I called and did a consultation call with her. And I'm so glad I did! She did my personal and business taxes. She found me all the tax deductions and credits. She took her time, and I never felt rushed. She answered all my questions. she even amended my 2021 taxes, because I felt me and my husband should have gotten more money back. And I'm glad we did. She got us back much more than I anticipated. she is very professional, knowledgeable and up to date with all the new tax laws, credits and deductions. she will forever be me and my husband's tax professional/accountant for life. I had a time sensitive paperwork to be done by an accountant .I had 24 hours to find one and complete. I was searching on Thumbtack late night, I contacted Karen, she responded right away. She works 24/7 , thats so true! After a few emails and text , the job was done by the morning! She is quick, very professional, understanding , top of the chart! Karen really came through for us. Upon leaving a message, I truly didn’t expect to receive any communication that day. So, I was truly surprised when Karen informed me she would follow up after her meeting. (She even informed me of the near end of the meeting so I could expect her call.) During our dialogue, Karen thoroughly explained her process and that she would communicate periodically as needed to complete my documents. She amazingly had all four years completed and ready for my review and signature before scheduled! Everything was perfectly in order and in queue for submission on the initial date of the IRS acceptance. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will contact my clients, thu email, call, and text. I will send them an invitation to create an account on MYTAXPORTAL where they can upload all of their tax information and fill out my "clientele worksheet" Through MYTAXPORTAL, my clients and I will keep communication. Once I finish my client's tax, I will then send them their return for viewing and Esigin n, before E-FILE. If paying cash half will be paid upfront, the remaining payment will be paid before E-filed. My services are available ALL year round.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor Degree in Accounting. I've been working as a Tax Preparer for H & R Block for 2yrs, Jackson Hewitt for 1yr and over 10yrs in my business. I take 18hr of Tax credited course and register with the IRS every year.
