Hello, my name is Luis Rincon. I’ve lived in Fort Walton Beach for 15 years. I graduated here in 2016. One of the main principles in our business is that every home we go to; we put in the effort as if it was our personal home. We focus on satisfying our clients throughout the Panhandle. Luis was amazing! When I posted the job, he reached out to me immediately. He was flexible with my schedule. He actually rescheduled with me, and fit me into his schedule, when an issue came up on my end. He let me know when he arrived at my condo and even FaceTime’d me to make sure we were on the same page with various tasks. He hung a picture, put up new bathroom fixtures, leveled out dining room chairs and assembled patio furniture. So he did a little of everything and did it well. His price was fair and I look forward to using him again in the future!

My fears turned true.. Termite damage! I called a couple contractors, on the very day I reached out to Panhandle Home Remodeling Luis contacted me immediately and even made a time available to meet with me the same day! I appreciated his undivided attention to me as a customer, talked with me of next steps and some "what if surprises". The day that Mario began work on the garage, Luis sent video's and pictures of the damage under the vinyl siding. There was ALOT of damage. The end results....amazing job with detail! The siding was taken down carefully to replace back up, an electric outlet was replaced as the original was not safe, the drywall replaced on the inside of the garage. Mario and the young lady(forgive me as I don't remember her name) were professional, cleaned up around the garage & covered things as needed. My invoice cost was expected, however Luis was extremely fair with all costs. I will be reaching out again for any further tasks, unexpected projects (I certainly hope for none!) as well as planned projects. Thank you Luis and Team!

I was quoted $200 - $250 and charged $320. An inexperienced helper was brought and allowed to install expensive material they later relayed they did not have enough of to finish the project. I found enough material to finish the project after they left tossed as scraps that was more than enough to finish the project. After showing the area needing first covered with ram board, I discovered they had also covered an area beneath not mentioned. To remove it would mean leaving visible nail marks. The helper ran out of two sided tape negating me to make an extra trip to Home Depot. Initially, the pro opened a roll of Velcro I had on hand and showed the helper how they could use it instead. After not being able to follow his direction, the helper relayed they were unable to use it. I later found a large portion of the unused Velcro wadded up and tossed in a box left by the helper. When returning with the additional even stronger two-sided tape requested, the helper and pro began struggling with it. The pro hung three pictures I personally held up on the wall showing him where I wanted them hung. When returning from Home Depot, I received a text from my husband the pro was asking where to hang one of the pictures. I arrived within minutes of receiving the text, but the pro had already hung it and it was at the top most portion of the wall even though I had held it up and gave directions to hang it eye level. In order to have him rehang it the way I had instructed it would have left visible marks on the wall, so I decided to let it go. The pro assisted the helper with the new tape and relayed to me they were finally able to figure out how to use it. While he finished hanging the remaining pictures, the helper relayed to him they had ran out of the very expensive sound proofing material and wasn't able to complete the entire small area. The next day I found enough of the expensive material tossed in the scrap box that was more than enough to have finished the project. The next morning, I opened the closet to find the top portion of the material hung with tape the helper initially used was beginning to sag. I purchased more tape knowing it would eventually fall. Today, approximated 11 days later (and the only other time i opened the closet after initially discovering where the top piece had begun to sag), I discovered the sound proofing material has now fallen from a large part of the middle. I messaged the pro even though he has already cashed my check asking for a refund for all but the three pictures hung given I am going to have to rehire the work to the closet. I let him know I would be changing his rating from 5 stars, that he pressed me to give him asap on his way out the door and overcharging me, to only 1 star and would give him until the end of the day to respond. That was three hours ago and haven't received a response. He was very quick to respond when I first posted the project. A couple of other pros had responded quicker, and i messaged him I had given the project to another pro. He messaged and admonished me, by accepting my post, he now had to pay $30 to Thumbtack. I relayed I was not aware of their fees and while he was at my home it was brought up again with his confirming they do not let their customers know. I'm not certain if that is true or not. I did felt bad after the pro I had initially hired was a no show, and reached back out to him. Unless I receive the refund I requested, I fully intend to leave the 1 start rating as it stands.

Ma’am, I wish you had been upfront with your concerns before I left your house. I make sure with all of my clients that everything is up to their standard. You assured me that everything was to your liking. You gifted me with chocolates and a check and sent me on my way. I wait a couple days to deposit checks into my account to assure that the work is still up to your standard.
