I had a wonderful experience with Fly Records Entertainment. They were courteous, professional, punctual and entertaining. I kno Mrs. Mitchell even got out on dance floor with us at one point and also video recorded our event. I know I'm leaving out some things bu I don' t want to write a book...if you're looking for someone to be on time and provide great enertainment, Fly Records Entertainment is the DJ to hire.

I hosted a birthday party for my grandmother and this DJ did not disappoint. They showed up an hour before hand to set-up. I requested a projector to show a video and he had everything set up and ready to go. They were fairly priced, and played old school clean music, just as I requested. My experience was great.

I got married on April 15, 2018 and our DJ was amazing. Very fun, professional and easy to work with. The only downfall to them and I wouldn’t even say it was a downfall but something to consider because I didn’t know this when I booked. They used CDs for music and not an iPod or mixer of some sort. And because of them using CDs there was some silence between songs there was no music until they changed the disc so kinda annoying. If they went to an iPod or something it would be fantastic.

Hey Rachael, Thanks for the review. It was a pleasure meeting you and your family/friends. We have a mixdeck, that we can play music from cd's, Ipods, flashdrives, & bluetooth. We played music from bluetooth & the pause was from downloading the variety of request that we were taking. We try to get the request on as soon as possible for the guest. We will update the data download limit's to provide the music faster for the guest. Thanks for the review & using Fly Records Entertainment for your wedfing needs. There was no wait on the music at the wedding because we already had the songs downloaded. At the reception we took the songs on the spot so it took a minute for the songs to download. I did a DIY wedding in Pensacola, Fl. My husband suggested using Thumbtack to find a DJ. I had never heard of it before, but I met Angie thru this app. I spoke to her a couple of times over the phone. She was responsive, enthusiastic, and professional. She was more then helpful with all my uncertainties and questions. She even made accommodations for a portable speaker to play music during my wedding ceremony on the beach. I provided a song list a couple days before the wedding and she never complained. They arrived on time and I think they played most of the songs on the list. I was too busy having fun so I couldn't remember. Lol....I would only change 2 things, #1. Our 1st dance song with my husband should have been in Spanish (but its not they're fault, I don't think I relayed that info). #2 I would have liked for the DJ to amp up the guests a little bit more. Although it was an outdoor party in a residential area, so not sure if that would've been appropriate. I was skeptical about hiring a DJ that I've never heard of before but all in all the music was great and I would definitely recommend this DJ husband and wife duo. Thanks. ☺

Do NOT recommend. DJing: 1. they played the wrong song for the Father daughter dance 2. Didn’t play most of the playlist we created and played their own music 3. late playing the exit ceremony song Coordinating: 1. Where do I begin. If felt like she forgot she was supposed to be coordinating. the groom did 10x more setting up and organizing before hand than the coordinator. 2. She did literally NOTHING despite having previous communication on what to do. 3. Barely talked and seemed like she didn’t want to be there. 4. Didn’t know where to walk the bride down 5. Didn’t help guests find their seats for the ceremony or reception. If she didn’t know, she should have asked and done SOMETHING. 6. I (the bride) worked so hard for months planning and creating my own decorations, almost NONE of which got out which is devastating when I put so much energy into the vision for my wedding. 7: even the basic things like guest sign in (which we had a Polaroid camera for instead of a guest book) didn’t even make it out of the box. 8. Favors (again, basic wedding stuff) didn’t get put out and me and my new husband with the help of a random food cook handed them out in the middle of the reception. 9. There’s so much more I could list but I’ll end it with this one- They pulled the groom aside at the end of the night and asked for the rest of their payment. Angie and Steven of Fly Records Entertainment practically ruined my wedding. We had a good time on our own because we didn’t let their cluelessness and incompetence stain our big day but it definitely deserves a bad review so we can hopefully spare future newly weds.

Extremely fair pricing for the experience and value. Also it really depends on what the customers needs are. We have packages available to help fit with the customers needs. The base price is 100 per hour.

Find out what the customers needs are and let the customers know how our booking process works.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education is from books, and other DJ's that I worked with early on. My experience is what seperates me from other DJ's. I have experience as a Radio DJ, Club DJ in the United States, and in Europe for crowds of hundreds. DJ for receptions, parties, reunions, clubs, radio station, and at military bases, where I was stationed at.
