Welcome to Thumbtack & Thank you for taking a moment to scroll my Intro & look at one of the Best Pro's in the Business. I have been in Residential Costuction since 1980. While moving up the ladder in the 80s, I started a new venture, building garages and additions on the side. This is when I fell in love with wood. My experience over the years has been hands-on from a mentor who was the best of the best and a perfectionist. I became a general contractor in Virginia at 27 yrs old, and this is when & where I began a road to become an electrician. We were Framing, Triming, and doing Cornice work on Custom Homes throughout Virginia. Most homes were Built several spec homes along with custom cedar decks, docks, and gazebos. In 1992, we had an environmental cedar deck on the cover of Southern Living Magazine. This was the highlight of my life and still is today. My specialty is oak stairways and crown molding. In the 90s, all trim was stained. This is where you become a Master at your trade, and I did. I am a little o.c.d. which works well being a carpenter.
