- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a 10% discount for 5 sessions purchased in advance.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Yoga can draw on so many techniques to help you meet your goals ranging from meditation, to breath work, chanting, and postural practice which can be vigorous or gentle. On the first session we will have an assessment and then plan our work together so that the practice is tailored to your individual needs. I’ll make a recommendation as to how many sessions we might work together. During the first session, I’ll guide you through the appropriate yoga techniques, typically starting with a centering exercise, gentle mobility warm-ups, some dynamic movement, followed by meditation and guided relaxation. At the end of the session I’ll allow time for feedback and make adjustments as necessary.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have trained primarily in Mysore, South India over the course of 15 years. I have trained in Yoga Therapy at Kripalu school of integrated yoga therapy. I’ve also studied yoga philosophy with Traditional Yoga Studies.
