Hi! My name is Gaby and I'm the founder of "Spanish Now" where my team and I provide fun and engaging online classes for all ages and skill levels. Teaching is my passion and through years of learning and teaching others, I have developed a customizable program to help you learn Spanish fast. We all grew up in South America, so unlike many other lessons, we will teach you how people really speak and in the dialect you should expect to hear. This will get you ready for your travels or simply communicate with other Spanish speakers without sounding like a textbook. Spanish can be easy and fun to learn. With us, we will follow a program designed for you to learn at your own pace. Whether you’re brand new to the language or working on perfecting communication, we can help. I’ve been working with Gaby for a while now and have no intention of stopping! I get unnecessarily nervous speaking Spanish, but she creates a safe environment, absent of any judgment, which allows me to feel comfortable trying and making (many) mistakes. I have a decent base-level of knowledge, but I’m working on improving my conversational proficiency, as my partner’s family speaks purely in Spanish. In less than a month, they’ve already said that they can see a visible improvement and that’s 100% thanks to Gaby! She also tailors each lesson to fit my specific needs, including allocating time to learning new content, while still leaving plenty of time for practice and repetition. She has such a strong understanding of both languages that she’s able to clearly explain all of the nuances, rules (and reasons behind them), and exceptions to the rules. 10/10 would recommend Gaby and Spanish Now! Only thing I regret is waiting so long to begin!

Gaby is the best kept secret in the Spanish learning world. She is a combination of the charm of a Disney princess and the intelligence of a rocket scientist. Her lessons are well-guided and constructed; plus, she is patient and understanding. If you are anything like me, you are afraid to speak around native Spanish speakers. Within a few lessons, you won't feel that way with Gaby. She isn't judgmental, mocking or condescending. In my lifelong desire to speak Spanish fluently, her lessons have given me the most hope to get there. I tried four or five other teachers before choosing Gaby, and it wasn't a difficult decision. Laura is a great teacher and I really am enjoying the lessons; she offers the right balance of lesson and application. I really wasn’t sure about how much I would enjoy a virtual class (vs an in-person coach) but I can honestly say the lessons are a lot of fun. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I want to spend some time getting to know my students. What their goals are, their level and how they best learn. Then we build a lesson plan, schedule classes and begin the journey!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent years teaching lessons for a Spanish language learning company. I also have spent my entire life in South America so I can teach you to speak how real people do to not to just sound like a textbook.
