Introduction

It is a unique method of learning that is modified depending on each student's need. Not every method suits every person. I love watching my students advance and I love watching them enjoy what they are learning. I feel passionate about languages, it's so amazing to be able to communicate with other people in their native language. Communication is simply not the same when you do so. People appreciate it more, and it gives you the opportunity to learn much more about the culture of each country. I have spent many years mastering the grammar in the languages I teach; and the only thing I can say is that the more I learn, the more I fall in love with each of these languages. I believe in transmitting what I feel so passionate about. For me, teaching a language is not "just a job", it is something I enjoy with all my heart, and I enjoy even more seeing my students improve with each class and finally seeing them become fluent... and happy about it! All my lessons are online, don't feel this is different from a one-on-one lesson, give it a try and I'm confident you'll love it :)

I started Spanish lessons with Georgette last month and am enjoying them very much! I like how practical and easy to build upon they are. They are fast paced in a good way and I’ve learned and retained much more than my time using Babbel prior to finding Georgette. Well worth it!

If you are looking to learn Spanish while also working a 9-5 job, look no further!! I love how Georgette structures her classes and how you will be forming full sentences by the end of your classes. She is very mindful about not overwhelming you. I was initially looking to do 1 hour lessons 2x a week, but the amount of material we cover in 30 minutes feels like we did an hour of material. She is patient, kind and her classes are well organized. She is very flexible about scheduling and prompt with lessons. Highly recommended Georgette!

Learning Spanish with Georgette has been fantastic and I can honestly say she is the best language teacher I have worked with. She caters the lessons to meet her students where they're at and in the short amount of time we've been working together my Spanish has improved greatly. Georgette is truly exceptional teacher. Despite the virtual format, I feel her passion for teaching and the Spanish language in every class and that makes every lesson enjoyable. She understands my potential very well and modifies the lessons and methods accordingly. She has a unique teaching method. She is very flexible with timings and very understanding. Main reason for me to select her over other teachers was she is a native Spanish speaker and after 15 lessons I am glad with my decision. I am still at the beginning level but I am sure in few months I will be able to start very basic conversations in Spanish. I highly recommend her.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is a discount on packages (if the students decides to pay some lessons in advance), as well as if the students takes more than one lesson per week
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It really depends on the student. I modify my way of teaching according to each student's particular preferences. I can work with books if they prefer so; or by using a method in which they won't be needing any text books
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been a language tutor for over 37 years; so this has given me the opportunity to engage in several related activities and jobs. I have been the ESL Coordinator for Miami Dade Community College in Hialeah, the Language Department Coordinator at a language school in Mexico City and I have translated several essays and three books from English to Spanish and from Italian to Spanish. I have studied French grammar in Mexico (at the “Alianza Francesa”); English grammar in London and the United States, and Italian grammar in Rome, making grammar my major in all four languages.
