I’ve been teaching yoga for 13 years. I’ve done thousands of hours of training, continuing education and teaching. My passion is helping people heal naturally through holistic practices. My expertise is in posture, yoga, movement, breath work and meditation. I guide people to heal injuries and chronic pain by learning how to build strength, mobility, and movement patterns so they feel their best and sustain a pain free and healthy lifestyle. I teach breathing techniques and meditation practices that guide people towards taking control over their physical and emotional well being. I’ve experienced and witnessed the incredible healing powers of holistic therapies and I love to share it with others. Emily is an adept, knowledgeable and intuitive healer of bodies! I was someone who did everything right in terms of exercising regularly, stretching, eating right and managing stress for decades, yet as I got older, I kept getting injured or having pain, particularly around my lower back, sacrum and hip region … and I could not make sense of it. Physical therapy and chiropractic care provided some temporary relief but nothing permanent or lasting. I often was told, “It’s just your age” and to avoid certain things. I knew this was not the case but was out of ideas about the underlying cause until I met Emily, who educated me on posture management and shared with me that no matter how correctly I did exercises, doing them with an imbalanced spine and structure would only lead to more injuries. This resonated with me, so I worked with her for just 10 sessions and it has completely changed my life! My hip, which kept “popping out,” is securely in place and I am reversing the imbalances in my back and feeling more freedom in my overall body than ever. Thank you, Emily!
