It was a great experience overall. They did an inventory with me, quoted, later on kept in touch, arrived on time, protected my furniture well, unpacked at the destination. I could not be more pleased. They were also very decently priced. I highly recommend United Family Movers

Updated Review: They came back out and finished the job and project to my complete satisfaction. A special thanks to Eli who made this happen. He was very patient and ensured that this time, the job was done correctly. Just like before, the crew was very professional and did a great job. I am very happy with how the move turned out. Great job! Pros: • The moving crew was professional, performing their duties well. • The team was punctual, ensuring they arrived on time for the move. Cons: • Staffing Issues: A noticeable shortage of staff on the day of the move led to significant delays. There was no advance notice given about this shortfall, which could have allowed for better planning or adjustments from my side. • Lack of Coordination and Communication: The moving day was marred by considerable confusion due to poor coordination from the management team. It was challenging to obtain clear explanations or timely responses, adding to the stress of the move. • Additional Charges: A 5% fee for using credit or debit cards, disclosed only on the moving day, was an unwelcome surprise. The encouragement to pay via cash or Zelle without offering a corresponding discount felt underhanded. • Payment Policy: The requirement for full payment before unloading the truck, not previously communicated, is not a standard industry practice and added undue stress to the moving process. • Incomplete Job and Billing Issues: The job was not completed as agreed, with a promised storage unit move left undone. Despite this, the service was charged without any offer of refund, demonstrating a lack of care and responsibility towards fulfilling agreed-upon services. Overall Impression: While the moving crew was professional and punctual, the management and organizational failings of Family First Movers significantly tarnished the moving experience. Issues such as understaffing, poor communication, unexpected charges, a peculiar payment policy, and particularly the incomplete job and billing for unrendered services, are serious concerns. These management shortcomings, combined with a lack of transparency and accountability, mean I cannot recommend their services and would not use them again.

Chelsea and Luis were awesome - I had to move a few bulky items and the process from quote to moving day was really straightforward and efficient. Highly recommend.
