Please note that the customer did not pay for 4hrs originally, the contact was for 3hrs 5pm-8pm. Based on the travel plan and shuttle service from the hotel to the wedding reception, and then back to the hotel to pick the bride's group up and back to the beach, and then the wedding and everyone going back to the hotel, she did not account for enough time. We discussed this with her on three occasions, and she insisted that everyone would be on time. We warned her that if someone is late, then her reservation was going to go overtime, and since she paid by Zelle we would have to collect payment as soon as the time was up, or the ride would be over. This was all outlined in the contract that she signed. Please note the following: 1) Our driver arrived to pick up the groomsmen at 4:50PM. At 5:10PM, he was notified by the party that one person was running late as she was getting her hair done. 2) We notified Ms. Simms, and she understood. We warned her that the job could go o/t now. 3). The driver left @ 5:30PM and arrived at the wedding event at 6PM. 4). Then the driver had to return back to the hotel to pick-up the bride and her group which was @ 6:30PM. 5). The bridal group arrived at the wedding event @ 7PM. 6). The driver notified us that several guests had not shown up yet and that the wedding would start @ 8PM. 7). We texted the customer and told her to send a Zelle payment for an additional hour, and she never answered our text. 8). We were concerned as we have been burned in the past with people who do not pay for their overtime. 9). We advised our driver to stay there until the wedding was over which was 9PM, and then request payment or the ride would end. 10). Ms. Simm's aunt contacted us, and she paid the overtime, and apologized for the event running late. We thanked her and explained that Ms. Simm's was notified that this could occur. 11). The ride was completed at 9:30PM. The customer then contacted us after the ride stating that she paid for 4hrs not three. I advised her to look at her contract. We again explained to her about her not accounting for extra time, and we told her we are not responsible if people are late, and if we had another ride, we would have had to end the reservation at 8PM. Fortunately, this did not occur. We have never received a 1-star review, and if the customer wants to sign a release, we will post a copy of the signed contract, along with all the text messages we have.
