Hired on Thumbtack

I choose to work with this company and arranged for payment on my credit card. The technician came to my home and processed my credit card payment for the deposit amount requested, around $1650.00. I received a receipt from Square. They told me they would start the job when the payment processed and the money was in thier bank account. After 3 days, they told me the money never posted, which was strange. Two days later, when i contacted them again about the payment, They refused to do the job. They told me to cancel the payment (which they never processed?).. I was shocked! After waiting for a full week for this company, I was left with nothing. Job not done, and no AC. I was forced to find another company last minute. And that company processed my payment with the very same card without any issues!! Payment posted in 1 day!!! These guys are unprofessional and untruthful. Zero Stars!!!
