Susan founded her own educational consulting business in 2001 and has become one of South Florida's most effective consultants for SAT, ACT, GRE, and SSAT/ISEE preparation as well as college and grad school advising, career counseling, and resume creation. She is also a professional writer and editor of non-fiction and fiction manuscripts/essays for undergraduate/graduate applications, scholarly use and corporate work.
A graduate of Cornell University (B.S.) the University of Maryland (M.Ed.), and Florida Atlantic University (M.A. English), Susan has 20+ years of experience teaching and empowering students in reading, math, writing and study skills. Prior to her work as a private tutor, Susan trained with and taught classes for the Princeton Review, a nationwide test preparation organization.
As a former instructor for the Princeton review and a private tutor for math study skills, Susan has a strong background in pre-algebra, algebra, algebra 2, and geometry. She has taught math on many levels to middle and high school students for over two decades.
Her writing background has also enabled her to help others to create and/or edit engaging application essays as well as strategic resumes and cover letters. She has also assisted her clients with a variety of writing projects from research papers to editing self-help and autobiographical as well as academic/technical manuscripts scheduled for publication.
Susan loves empowering her students and clients through personalized test preparation, undergraduate and graduate admission support, resume/manuscript writing plans, and learning about how each one of her students and clients can be successful at attaining their goals.
