- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is one standardized price for all appointments - $80/hr. Unlike some service companies whose prices differ depending on the service, Nerd Alert offers one flat rate of $80/hr. For a full list of services check out our website.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Whether a client is new or old, we handle each and everyone differently. We treat each client differently because every person has a different issue with their devices as well as a different understanding of how things work. We cater to each person's needs and wants accordingly. Every client who books an appointment will get a call from their Nerd in advance of showing up so that the Nerd can take the time to get acquainted with the client and understand how to best help them upon arrival. Especially with new clients, we go at the pace of learning that they are comfortable with. We provide notes with what is being done and how to solve common issues so in the event they ever occur again the client can quickly and easily solve them on their own as they become more tech savvy!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We do intense background checks on EVERY Nerd that we employ on both a state and federal level. Nerds are not required to have a a college/university degree or any technical certificates to be hired. However, before hiring each and every Nerd they are required to attend and pass all technical assessments and tests at our Nerd Alert Academy which is our school of training. We have a 100% satisfaction guarantee to back up every Nerd that comes to help clients which ensures satisfaction is met on each appointment we do.
