- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is flexible and project-based. Clients have the option to choose between an hourly rate or a retainer fee, based on the project's scope of work which will include design time, digital presentations/plans as well as all consultations. A 15%-30% markup fee will be charged on purchases pertaining to furniture, wall coverings, lighting, fabrics, etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Each new project is broken down into five phases. Phase I : The design concept, where the initial consultation is made, measurements are taken and a digital presentation is made to provide client with overall design. Phase II: Specification of products and purchases made upon client approval. Phase III: Project installation, delivery and installation of all purchases made. Phase IV: Contract admin services (if needed) job site visits, evaluating bids, supervision of contractors during renovations. Phase V: Closeout - Billing balances met, professional photography taken upon client approval, and overall project completion.
