Sam did a great job recovering the pictures that I had inadvertently deleted from my SD card. He was very professional and patient with me as he went through the process. He explained everything to me in terms that I could easily understand. If I ever have a need for services that he provides, I will not hesitate to contact him.

Sam is awesome! I feel I got very lucky in choosing him. From day one, he was super-responsive, very knowledgeable, and such a nice guy. He spent a good deal of time with me on the phone, explaining prospective diagnoses and costs. Sam was able to come and pick up the computer within the hour! I could tell immediately, and increasingly so through our correspondence, that he’s extremely knowledgeable. A true expert. He really helped me to understand how to get the best value and performance out of my repair situation. To top that off, he was extremely willing to talk computers and give me some advice on a another machine I was considering buying. I sincerely appreciated that, and ended up finding a killer deal based upon his technical recommendations! Sam went above and beyond to get me the best deal and the best possible outcome. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It depends on the job at hand for data recovery I have a range from $300 to $800 for easy to complex issues as long as I don't to physically open a drive. If platters or heads need to be replaced then it can run from $1800 to $2000. For computer repairs and other types of jobs, I charge by the hour $95 minimum of 2 hours.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I get a phone call from the customer explaining the problem, based on that I will give an estimate. Then the customers and I will meet at their place or at a public place.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Self-taught 10 years on the job recovering data from pretty much anything that can hold data. I like to hack things to make them do what I need.
