Tutoring with Patience

I am currently a High School Math teacher in Clermont, Florida who enjoys helping students succeed in all subjects of Mathematics. Math is a very tough subject for many students who did not receive a solid foundation in elementary and middle school. I strive to help students fill in these gaps which is usually the case in their struggle of understanding math concepts. Math builds on itself every year and if the student missed a concept it can affect his/her skills later in their math education. I have been teaching for over 11 years but tutored for over 20 years. I have help many students understand and feel comfortable with learning math. As a patient individual I am able to help with easing students constant frustrations with the topics. I strive to explain the concepts with easier terms and learning techniques. My ultimate goal is helping students succeed and understand the concepts in Math. I feel very accomplished when students tell me that I gave them a better understanding in math and changed their feelings towards mathematics. That gives me the enjoyment of making a difference in their education and giving them the ability to believe that they can be succeed in math.
