FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We feel that the average person should be able to afford the investigative help they need. Many investigators arrogantly assume they are worth top dollar, and brag about their high rates. We try to price most work a little below average, and we're sympathetic to those in a bad situation without the financial means to throw at a lengthy investigation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It really depends on what the client needs. For background investigations, an email conversation is fine. For more personal needs, we like to sit down with the client (at least virtually) and make sure everything is spelled out -- the needs and expectations are clear and the likely results are realistic. We always prefer to speak to the client, either in-person or by phone.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We attend seminars and workshops, which can be helpful if properly focused. But most of our education and training has been in the field, putting in the hours and honing our craft.
