First, please note that I live in Clearwater, zip 33756, one mile south of downtown. I have 2 degrees in Music Education and especially enjoy teaching people to read music. (Note: A student needs to be able to read words.) I can also do some vocal coaching and accompany singers. I love helping people learn music and be able to achieve their musical goals. Music is such an important part of life!

My daughter and I started taking lessons with Marcia about a month ago and she had been a gift to our family! She's knowledgeable, patient, kind, encouraging, and accommodating and we're both learning a lot. She's a fantastic teacher and I'm so grateful we found her! Thank you Marcia!

We haven't had a lesson yet, but unfortunately I was procrastinating. She has been very responsive and continued to keepme in her loop while I was contemplating. Reasonably priced and so generous with that time. We willbe doing piano and voice accompaniment!

Marcia is an excellent piano instructor. I am very happy with the lessons my daughter is currently taking. Marcia is patient, and is clear in giving instruction and explanation to each step or lesson that is given. I would definitely recommend her!

Our first session today with Ms.Marcia. Ari was very nervous. But I was taught Piano today for the 1st time ever. Tried to put my daughter at ease. Miss Marcia was kind and patient with Ari. I greatly appreciated that. I know as time goes on Ari will open up more. I learned a few things today and Ari also helped Ms.Marcia teach me..lol. I look forward to getting our own piano to practice on. And see Ms.Marcia for our next lesson.

I have never played the piano before I started taking lessons. I have been taking lessons now for six months and can actually play some songs. Marcia is magic with her instructions. I will be 74 this year and thought I might be too old to start, but I am so pleased to find Marcia. She is so professional and a wonderful instructor. She makes it fun to learn the piano. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fees are as follows when the student comes to my place: $30 for 30 minutes $35 for 40 minutes $40 for 50 minutes $45 for 60 minutes If I travel (which is very rare), there is an added travel fee of $5 or more.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I find out what his/her goal is regarding playing the piano, then I teach to that goal.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.S. and an M.A. from the University of Illinois in Music Education. I have taught piano all my life.
