FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Though quality costs more, I am reasonable and flexible. I work to your budget. I try my best to save your time and money by doing a remote (phone or video conference) consult before coming. On-site consultations are THE best policy, and I incorporate my initial fee into the job cost once you decide.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
No job is the same, but the approach is: I will come when it best suits your schedule (including emergencies); we will discuss the job; I will offer possible solutions to the ones you already consider; we will agree to the terms and services; and I will perform! As a new customer, I will try to quickly give you reason to trust and have confidence in me. And though I am skilled and experienced, I will listen to your insights, especially because you have thought about the job for days or possibly weeks longer than I have!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My father and grandfather were tradesmen and contractors. I grew up in the trades. My father was a master plumber. However, at age 16 I joined a carpentry class, and then at age 17 began working as an electrician. I subsequently started my own company in 2003. I became licensed in California as a General Contractor (all aspects of building), and also obtained my Plumbing license in 2004. Most recently, in 2018 I moved to Florida. I set up accounts at various suppliers, as I built a custom home for my family, and learned the requirements of the local jurisdictions. I am better equipped to service your needs!
