I've been grooming now for over 20 years and have loved every minute of it. Your furry family friends are my priority, each and every one. I do my best for them first, then I give the best advice I can to help maintain them till their next grooming especially ones who like longer hair. Patience, TLC and knowledge is key to a good grooming experience. Not all pets like grooming but they can still have a good grooming experience. I think of it like this, it takes a while to find a good doctor for yourself you can trust, but just because he/she is your favorite doctor doesn't mean that you like what they have to do to to keep you healthy. They have the patience and experience to help you through whatever it is that your going through.

My cats were horribly matted and way overdue for a grooming. Millie showed up today and was just amazing! My cats were so calm with her....I HIGHLY recommended Millie!

Mildred was awesome with our 1 year old cat. The cat was crawling all over the place and wasn't the biggest fan of water, but she was really patient with her and the cat's shedding has majorly reduced!

Millie did a great job with our miniature goldendoodle, Perrier! We’ve struggled with keeping his coat dematted in the past. Millie gave us great recommendations on how to maintain his coat until his grooming with her. She was also very accommodating when we needed to reschedule our first grooming session. On the day of the grooming, she asked many questions before starting that made me feel comfortable and trust that she really cares about what her customers want. She also called us during the groom to confirm any skin allergies before bathing.
We are thrilled with Perrier’s groom! His coat has never been softer, and she listened to exactly what I wanted. She also gave us some conditioning spray and a hair pick to use to maintain his coat between grooms.
This is the first time I have picked up my pup from a groom without crying, as he’s been shaved multiple times by other groomers without warning. We will 100% be using Millie again! Looking forward to seeing her in about 6 weeks.

I have a longhair, 14 year old scaredy-cat with matted hair. I was concerned about the stress of grooming. Millie was open, friendly, listened to my concerns and explained the whole process to me. When she was done my kitty was very calm. My opinion aside, my kitty was content - and that is what really matters!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I listen to what you (the owner) would like to have done. Then we together or just me will assess your pet and come up with what is best for him/her('s) comfort level. They may not like it for whatever reason. But for them this needs to be a positive working experience so that they may eventually be calm and comfortable or at least be able to deal with the grooming experience better.
I do really enjoy working with you and loved ones.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes....looking forward to becoming a Certified Master Groomer through the NDGAA
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started volunteering at animal shelters, walking, feeding, cleaning kennels. I started noticing how people would just walk by and judge the ones that were hiding and their hair would be matted. I started grooming them with some help to help them get homes.
