- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We try to give the best possible quote over the phone and topically charge by the room or by the square footage of the project. We typically recommend a deep cleaning for most situations as it is just a better cleaning than a standard steam cleaning. However some customers simply don’t need a deep cleaning such as a simple move out cleaning or someone that gets a cleaning very frequently.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
On the job training for me, learned from a carpet and tile cleaning professional that had been working in this line of work for 30years.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was working for the USPS and a friend of mine had bought a carpet cleaning business. He was getting overwhelmed and asked me for some help. I wasn't happy at the USPS, so I took him up on the job opportunity. After 3 years he was looking to move to the commercial side of the business and asked me if I wanted to keep the Residential side of the cleaning business. I decided to buy the residential side of the business in 2022 and I have been running it since.
