FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My first day with a client typically consists of getting to know their needs and goals, past exercise experience, current health status, any injuries or surgeries they may have had, blood pressure or cholesterol issues, and what their eating habits have been. At this point, we will discuss together what type of training program would be most effective for the best results.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Continuing education in the field of health and wellness ensures that Certified Professionals enhance skills of knowledge above and beyond minimum competence. Your trainer should be up to date on their Continuing Education not only because it is necessary, but because learning more about their passion should always be exciting!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Finding the right trainer for you can be a difficult task. You need to make sure that you won't get hurt while training. Many trainers don't have the knowledge of how to progress their clients safely and effectively. They may try to progress them too quickly with the end result being injuries. My advice is to be sure that the trainer is certified and that certification is approved by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies.
