FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The larger the number of students tutored in the same session, the lower the price to each individual student.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is to target a Dream School for the student that matches his academic & environmental needs. Then, the median S.A.T. score required for admission is identified. Every student is pre-tested with a full S.A.T. The results are analyzed as to areas of weakness & types of questions that yielded problems. The personalized lessons target these specific areas. Specific notes are given and a required "homework" with the parents is assigned. Skipping or ignoring this part sabotages the entire curriculum; it is essential to improve scores. In subsequent weeks, other S.A.T.'s are completed to test incorporation of the techniques that were taught. This continues until the student SURPASSES the required score for his/her Dream School.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I possess a double Ph. D. from the University of Miami, where I was also a professor. In 1978 I started tutoring high school students for the S.A.T. in Dade County, FL. In 1993 I moved to Palm Beach County where I continued with local students. After ZOOM technology was introduced, I expanded my tutoring to all 50 states & Canada.
