FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My diagnosis fee is $85. If you wish to proceed with the repair the fee is placed in the labor. The cost is normally $125+ parts, but this depends on what has to be done. For example, if the dryer has to be removed in order to repair the washer, the cost increases.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask what the issue is, what brand is the appliance, what city they live in, give the soonest available date, give pricing details, ask for the model number, and the address for scheduling.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have no formal training on appliance repair. I was a middle and high school teacher before I transitioned to this. I have a BA in History, MBA, and MA.
