FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our main goal is to be fair and transparent. We provide an estimated "base fee" cost of the project; however, pricing really depends on the time involved and the complexity of the job. We also do our best to provide the most accurate price possible based on the information that we have at the time; if unexpected information is presented the price could increase accordingly. Flat fees often can be provided for services like income tax preparation and monthly bookkeeping services among others.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step typically involves asking multiple questions and depending on the project those up-front questions could fluctuate. Then, after getting a good assessment of the customer's needs/situation, we can meet in person to complete the agreed upon fee or if remote, my fee can be paid in a variety of ways. Then, an exchange of necessary documents will occur either in person or via email if remote. After the service is complete, I always like to walk the customer through the final work product and also return any documents to the customer if requested. Any follow up questions are always returned in a timely manner.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Former Tax Manager at a well respected Fortune 500 Company. Also, I was a former Tax Professional at a large, well respected tax firm with hundreds of hours of training and passed many levels of certifications. QuickBooks certified ProAdvisor. Masters degree.
