FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process begins with an in-person visit to assess the project and discuss options with the client. During this meeting, we address any questions they may have. Within 1-3 days, we provide a proposal that includes a quote and an initial design concept. Once the client approves the proposal, we move forward with finalizing the design, selecting materials, and reviewing any necessary adjustments to the quote. After full approval, we send a contract agreement for both the client and our company to sign, officially initiating the project.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Before meeting with a renovation professional, customers should consider the following questions to ensure a smooth and productive conversation: Project Goals & Vision • What do I want to achieve with this renovation? (e.g., functionality, aesthetics, resale value) • Do I have any specific design preferences or inspirations? (colors, materials, styles) • Are there any must-have features or elements in the space? Budget & Timeline • What is my budget range, including a contingency for unexpected costs? • What is my ideal timeline for completion? • Am I willing to phase the project if necessary due to budget constraints? Scope & Logistics • What areas of my home are included in the renovation? • Are there structural changes needed (moving walls, plumbing, electrical work)? • Will I be living in the home during the renovation? If so, how will that impact the process? Material & Finish Preferences • Do I have preferences for flooring, cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, or appliances? • Am I open to alternative materials if my first choices exceed my budget? Contractor & Communication Expectations • How involved do I want to be in the design and selection process? • What level of communication and updates do I expect from my contractor? • Do I have any specific concerns about the renovation process? (e.g., noise, dust, disruptions) Future Considerations • Will this renovation affect future resale value? • Do I need to consider energy efficiency or sustainability in material choices? • Will this renovation accommodate any long-term needs (e.g., aging in place, growing family)?
