I initially had a good impression of Ed—he was great in person and seemed knowledgeable. However, he failed to follow the stud build-out requirements for my Tonal installation, despite having the necessary directions. While we both agreed on his plan, it ultimately did not meet the specifications needed for installation. When I reached out to Ed about the issue, I expected a professional contractor to take accountability and help remediate the mistake, especially since I was willing to pay for any additional work required. Instead, I received no response for multiple days. When he finally did reply, he offered to come the following week. I followed up two days before and again on the scheduled day, but Ed did not respond or show up. Ultimately I was left out of pocket $500 and back to the drawing board. A contractor’s responsibility doesn’t end when the job is incomplete or done incorrectly, and unfortunately, Ed did not take ownership of the mistake or make an effort to resolve it in a timely manner. While he may be personable, I cannot recommend him due to the lack of accountability and communication.
