My name is Kristen and I am the owner of Tails of the Beach Pet Grooming! It is mobile dog grooming with a bit of a twist. Offering mobile dog grooming from the comfort of the dogs environment and safety. This is great for dogs who hate the car ride, who have anxiety, for owners who just don't like the idea of their pet being at the salon, for what feels like all day. Do you have multiple dogs or cats and loading them up to go to the groomer feels like a chore? Well now you can stay in the comfort of your own home and have the salon come to you. I am Certified Advance Pet Stylist with over 10 years experience, multiple certifications that set me apart from the lack of standards in our industry. I am continuing my education throughout the year to advance my knowledge and expertise, and excellent customer service skills. This is a luxury service Iand is priced higher than any salon experience. House call grooming is a very personal experience for both the pet and owner. We recently moved to the beaches and am SO glad we found tails of the beach! We have two older dogs who have grown to hate getting groomed, so the stress free option of getting groomed at home has been AMAZING

Amazing job! Kristen did an amazing job on our two dogs. She was able to come to our home and work with both their needs and make them look and smell wonderful. Our dogs were covered in dirt and grime from playing outside in our backyard and she made them so fresh and clean again. Highly recommend! Would definitely hire again!

Kristen has been grooming my 2 Westies for the past 2 1/2 years, monthly. They will be 3 years old in about 2 weeks. She is an excellant groomer. Casper and Angel love her. She will take great care of your dog or cat.

Molly loves Kristen! While Kristen is packing up Molly wants Kristen to pick her up. I think she would go home with her! Kristen has been grooming Molly for over 2 years and she always looks gorgeous 💗I don’t have to worry about Molly being mistreated, which is important to me.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are based on a hourly rate. These prices are based on how long it takes me for each groom. All services include shampoo, conditioner, blow dry, fluffy dry, brushless enzymatic teeth spray, ears cleaned, nails trimmed, and nails filed. Will express glands by request Call/Text for a quote!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get as much information as I can from them to understand what they want done and how their pet is for grooming. The more I know in advance, the better I can be about approaching their pets for certain parts of the grooming (especially if they don't like it, are scared, 1st time and/or aggressive)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I continue education throughout the year. I am Certified in: Pet first aide and cpr (2020 & 2022) Skin and coat 101 (esthetician) Advanced skin and coat (esthetician) AKC S.A.F.E. Handling Brachycephalic Breeds Safety course Canine Massasge AKC West Highland White Terrier certificate AKC American cocker spaniel certificate
