- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you feel comfortable with whoever you hire. You can always get something done cheaper….but you may regret it. Also, making sure the company you hire has liability insurance which is another marker that they take themselves seriously.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Having a clear scope of work and what you want done helps guide the contractor. Having a basic idea of number of colors and general hue will help as well. For example, when going from a dark wall color to a very light color, it may require more coats of paint than usual. If there are certain areas of damage or rot, try to have a basic idea of number of boards or areas that you want replaced.
