Introduction
I came into fitness in my mid-20s through martial arts. My focus is on martial arts based strength, fitness and wellness to build a solid and mobile core and build into more athletic movements. My training focuses on more efficient movement for quicker strength gains and reducing chronic pain.

If one wants to learn martial arts insightfully while properly do varied exercises and get in shape, Byron’s your dude. He’s an erudite and well rounded when it comes down to, what I call, “Body and muscle recognition”: an awereness of the human muscular anatomy. In turn, applying this awareness to the martial art, one can execute and understand it at the same time. For instance, in my case, when I want to execute a forearm punch, thanks to Byron’s knowledge and teachings, I simply don’t just punch with no attention, but use my pectoral muscle, latissimus dorsi, abdomen, and gluteus maximus simultaneously to execute the punch.
There is no other martial art instructor (who I’ve taken) who really takes the time to teach one what muscles to use when doing an exercise or a particular Kung fu move -Byron follows through here.
When it comes down to the martial art forms, Byron’s able to illustrate how to apply a certain Kung fu move set in a real life scenario. As well as show how other Jow ga school’s perform their sets differently compare to the way he does it.
Overall, Byron’s a profound martial art and exercise instructor ^_^.
