For running Ethernet throughout the house, you don’t necessarily want an electrician. You instead want a specialist in low voltage installations (which an electrician MIGHT be). They need to know how to terminate the wires correctly (568B wire ordering). More info here: https://www.reddit.com/r/HomeNetworking/s/kzaIud6xSi Omar has extensive experience in low voltage installs working for large IT companies in the northeast US and now for his own company in Florida. He and his apprentice, Kenny, were attentive and kept me informed of various challenges they experienced when running cat6 throughout my house and installing the Leviton media enclosure / access point in my utility closet. They brought their own cat6 from Truecable, and used Leviton connectors. I purchased the media enclosure, patch panel, and switch. For a few exterior walls, they ran the cable outside the house and installed PVC conduit to protect it. They did great sealing the soffits and walls. They were also able to run it through the attic for two of my rooms in interior walls. Omar knows what he’s doing, listens to all concerns no matter how small, is very responsive, and I would wholeheartedly recommend him.

Omar installed 8 Reolink cameras and a new ethernet port for us. He ran new POE cables from soffits and a covered lanai through the attic to the communication panel in our laundry room. He did an excellent job! He initially provided us with a free estimate, then started the work on the same day. We are very pleased with the result. I would definitely hire him again.
