Marcus (King Essential Yard Service) cannot follow instructions. Asked him to trim back shrubs 4”, instead he trimmed them 40” destroyed the shrubs all across the front of our house (see photo). No common sense! Beware of this company!!!

They broke the roof of my house last Wednesday 07/06/22 while trimming the palm tree and I’m still waiting for them to hire a professional to fix it my roof. Every other day call me and tells me that they gonna send someone but nobody shows up. The owner showed up at my house last Saturday to try to fix it himself but couldn’t do it. I’m getting aggravated! Just want my roof fix it before HOA start sending me fines.

Pro had stopped by our house a couple of times over the past year or so and dropped a business card. Combining this with their good reviews on Thumbtack, I hired them to trim 2 Palm Trees and 2 hedge rows. I followed their initial instructions and emailed them, received no response, and followed up via the thumbtack app. From there communication was slow and driven by me, not the pro. We did eventually agree on Friday 3/7 that they’d be by before Wednesday 3/12 to do the job. Pro was a no-show by Tuesday evening so I followed up again on Tuesday evening, 3/11. Received a message on Wednesday morning asking for my address - which I already provided on 3/1. If this all happened in one day I could attribute this to the pro having a bad day. However, based on almost 2 weeks of subpar communication and being a no-show for this job I can’t recommend considering King for any type of work. Truly surprising and disappointing experience. My job was a piece of cake, a total lay up - and the pro couldn’t handle it, let alone manage the simplest of communication. It’s remarkable that someone puts the effort into door to door marketing and then can’t be bothered to close the sale.

Ian we're sorry we didn't come when we were scheduled. Due to the recent tornado that hit central florida off Markham Woods Road on Monday March 10th the event did alter our schedule. We did send you an email and tried calling you on Tuesday March 11th to notify you, due to the recent unfortunate weather event which destroyed homes, cars and many trees we would not make it out to you by our agreed upon time. Sorry for any inconvenience we may have caused you for not making it to trim your 2 Palm Trees and hedges.
