- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a free consultation call to get to know the potential clients background, career transition goals, etc. I review their current resume and discuss how I can work to improve their resume to help them rebrand or strengthen their professional brand, keyword optimize and tailor their resume for computer applicant tracking systems to get better results and more.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have a collaborative branded/career marketing resume process. My process includes an initial call w/my client to review their current resume and background in detail. The client will complete two resume documents for me, one is a professional branding document and one is a STAR theory/accomplishment document. When the client has completed the documents I use the client's current resume, completed resume documents, notes from our phone call to develop a resume draft. The draft is a work in progress. The client and I will have 1 or 2 more calls to collaboratively work on edits and revisions on the draft until we are both satisfied with the final resume. When the resume has been finalized the client will receive a finalized resume in a PDF, WordDoc (so they can continue to keyword optimize and tailor their resume to various job descriptions in the future) and I include a cover letter template for the client as well.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 10 years of successful experience career coaching individuals in career transition, working at a Global Outplacement Company, Coaching and working on a Leadership team with the University of Delaware Professional and Continuing Studies Department, coaching clients with my private company Career Consulting by Andrea since 2015. I am also a certified Life Coach with Asset Based Thinking and have been life coaching since 2015 as well.
