- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will have an initial consultation where I come to your home and see the areas you want to work on. After I go back home I will compile a design proposal, suggested budget and quote for services. When it’s time to start work on the room, I will take payment upfront for my time. Then, you will be as involved as you would like to be in making purchasing decisions, and we will set another appointment for installation day! When that day comes I like to get it done in one to two days max per room.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved homes and decor. I studied fine art and design in college, but as a mother to young children, I struggled to commit time to my artwork. Eventually my love of homemaking and art/design led me to spending hours learning about home decor and interior design and styling, and Jessica Miller Interiors was born!
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
It took me 6 hours to restyle a beautiful living room recently! I shopped the clients home, rearranged her furniture, hung art and family photos to make the space much more homey and cohesive.
