We reached out to Sharif one evening and he contacted us immediately. After gathering the facts of our telecommunication issues he set up a time to come out the next morning with the necessary supplies. I requested bids from several vendors to install a LAN in my house consisting of CAT7 cable and etc., run in the walls. I knew the work would be difficult, as the house’s walls do not generally align, and it has large HVAC conduits, and much insulation on the exterior walls, so I was careful to consider only those companies that demonstrated expertise and attention to detail. After considering several proposals, I selected Multicablingsolutions LLC for the work. Its bid was very well done and it got all the parts right, even the small things, on the very first pass. None of the other companies quite did. Shafiq Mallory, the owner, arrived on time and worked very hard for over two days. He got it done, and he got it done right. A few times he had to find innovative solutions to run some of the lines, and the hardware requirements turned out to be a bit different from what he and I expected. No problem. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is usually consistent with market price minus any difficulties because of odd or rare wall material or custom work. Also, I do not give blind quotes or estimates. It wouldn't be fair to myself or the customer to give an off the cuff estimate, but rather doing a walk through or thorough conversation about the job request. Thereupon, enabling me to give a true estimate.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process is for me to become familiar with the new customer and understand with clarity exactly what they want and the task they desire. This helps me maximize my job performance to their convenience
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've worked and became certified by comcast in 2006 for phone/data/cable installation. In addition, I've mounted tv's in the process of installing. I've done pre/post wiring for time warner for an additional 3yrs.. Consistently done work as an Independent from interior installation to outside construction, over 11yrs experience.
