I had the pleasure of meeting with Bona to discuss redesigning my home. Although I ultimately decided to work with a different decorator, I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with her. Her professionalism and passion for interior design were evident from the moment we met. She listened intently to my vision for the space and provided valuable insights and recommendations that helped me to clarify and refine my ideas. Throughout the consultation process, she remained attentive and responsive, always taking the time to answer my questions and address any concerns I had. Her knowledge and expertise in the field were truly impressive, and I was confident that she had the skills necessary to transform my home into a beautiful and functional space. While I ultimately chose to work with a different decorator, I would highly recommend Bona to anyone seeking a talented and passionate designer.

I have never worked with an interior designer before and was not sure about the process or the outcome. But Bona was great to work with, very responsive and very understanding whenever I was unable to respond back immediately. She is very patient and also very flexible and will work with your style and budget. She made some great recommendations and ideas and I loved how the rooms turned out! Would definitely use her services again and would highly recommend her as well.

Bona did a great job designing our guest bedroom. She listened to the style I was looking for and was able to deliver the “look” within my budget. I really appreciated that she was open to hearing my thoughts on her recommendations to better understand what I really wanted. Bona helped take our room with a bunch of mismatched items to a put together room that our guests love!

Bona did an excellent job assisting us with selecting a color palette for the exterior of our home. We recently installed new windows and a new front entry door and we were struggling with what colors to paint the shutters, trim and options for new garage doors. Bona provided visuals that helped us see what the various options would look like. I highly recommend Bona if you are looking for assistance with interior/exterior design.

Bona is amazing and I would hire her again in a second for an interior design, sourcing, or staging project. I had recently moved into a new home and was having a hard time pulling the space together / figuring out what to keep and what to get rid of. I really can’t say enough good things about her and I strongly feel the reviews she’s received don’t do her justice. She asked a ton of great questions and wanted to see photos before we even met. She arrived on time and with great ideas she’d already thought through. Bona didn’t waste a second suggesting new ways to think about the space, shifting things around so I could see what could go where. She didn’t hesitate to move the couch, beds, etc. She created a list of items I was missing and then actually went out to purchase them, sharing photos as she shopped for some new pieces. She pulled it all together, put up the paintings, and made my space feel like a home. I’m so excited about my space and can’t wait to work with Bona again.

Fair pricing for fast, quality work ; )
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to see the space that I am working with, to take a walk through it versus just seeing photos. I like to chat with the client and know what they want from that space and how they want to feel. I want them to feel good in their home.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've completed my second degree in Visual Merchandising as well as currently completing an online diploma in Interior Design from the Interior Design Institute. I've worked for bigbox companies such as Macy's, design studios and several local DMV staging companies.
