Dear Cassandra and Ali, I was concerned to hear you were not satisfied with my work and/or business. I understand you were not pleased with the quality of work and the loss of envelopes. At the commencement of all calligraphy jobs, clients are advised to provide extra envelopes for errors and/or omissions. Per your email, you are not pleased with the loss of envelopes and therefore would like a partial refund. The loss of envelopes came to be because 6 of the envelopes which did not have the T’s crossed were marked on with a pen by your party. Previous clients and I have worked together to salveage envelopes. The art of calligraphy is not acquired overnight and takes years of practice. In this case, 12 written addresses equated to 2 hours of handwritten work which you stated needed to be redone Completely. Cassandra, I am sorry again to hear this and feel you are frustrated with the issue encountered with this project. I am open to discussing a partial refund. For the all intents and purposes, please note all envelopes were approved in writing by you via email, the approved photograph did appear in your review. On June 24th, per your approval they were mailed directly to you subsequently thereafter. After submitting an email to resolve any remaining issues, you noted you had mailed all envelopes to the guests. I appreciate all feedback from my clients and understand you are frustrated. I would have appreciated discussing the partial refund prior to your leaving any feedback. My work is very important to me, but most importantly communicating with you on how to resolve your final requests. Please elaborate on your request for a partial refund via email to serve you better. Due to the nature of the feedback received on this project your concerns have been escalated to Thumbtack Support.
