FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We typically charge $300/hour, starting at the beginning of our first set and finishing at the end of our last set. If your event requires audio and/or lighting services that are not already provided by you, the event, or the venue, the pricing will vary to accommodate those services. Of course, we are flexible depending on your needs. For inquiries about weddings, we usually do a free consultation with you, and build a proposal to best fit your needs and your budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once you reach out to us, we will set up a time to discuss your needs for your event to make sure we’re taking all of your requirements and preferences into consideration. As a part of this, we will send you audio and video samples of our music. Additionally, we will always respond to you in a timely manner.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All the band members are longtime musicians with experience working with a diverse set of clients and vendors, bringing a fun and professional energy to any event. Anjan Mukherjee is the bandleader and point of contact for Emergency Mouse. He is a performer, composer, teacher, and a veteran musician of the Washington, DC metro area. From his first piano lesson at age 9, Anjan’s love for music led him to pick up and immerse himself in several other instruments, such as the flute, drums and percussion, guitar, electric bass, and ukulele. He’s performed for small, intimate audiences, all the way to a professional sports arena of more than 57,000 people. Anjan graduated with a degree in Music from Davidson College. In addition to playing bars, clubs, and select private events, Anjan is a longtime member and percussionist for the Capital City Symphony, a community orchestra that performs fun and creative programming at the Atlas Performing Arts Center in Washington, DC.
