- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Princing varies depending upon the detail, cake tiers, number of individuals, fruit fillings, fondant, buttercream, specialty icing. Specials are incorporated during holiday seasons for cookies etc. Some discounts are available based on quantity. I try always to work within the clients budget but I do need to cover my costs and time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet or have a phone conversation with my customers to ensure that the product meets their vision. I will make suggestions and provide different ideas to meet a client's vision. I also will meet the client and provide samples when requested. I request a deposit and then payment in full either just before the event or the day of the event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been baking for over 30 years and studied under both a swiss chief and a german chief.
