Introduction
I customize my training to meet the needs of each individual student. Piano series books only serve as general guides. I encourage even young students to listen and play tunes they hear every day to help them build an intimate relationship with the piano. I give zoom classes as well! I play regularly at the BSO Cafe in Symphony Hall and can give my more advanced students an opportunity to play a piece in front of an appreciative audience.

If you're wondering if you should give Andrew Celentano a try -- the answer is yes! I had one session with Andrew, who I met through Thumbtack. I found him to be very responsive, friendly and easy to set up an appointment with. His style is ideal for people who are returning to piano after a hiatus, or people who already have pieces they have chosen and wish to practice. He will support you in your objectives and offer guidance based on the many teachers he himself has had. Piano lessons can, in fact, be fun!

After many years and many teachers, I was frustrated And thought my dream of ever playing piano Good enough to play my favorite songs was over. Then one night someone gave my daughter his card At a comedy show, I called started my lesson And within 2-3 weeks I was playing" Your Song" After that Imagine, let Em In, merry little Xmas I'm working on a real tough one Martha my dear! He knows how to teach an adult, he's not good He's great!!!! I look forward to my lessons... He'll help you at any level....

As an adult beginner of piano, I have worked with Andrew for the last 6 months and it has been a rewarding experience. He is an excellent teacher and understands the challenge starting can be. He is innovative in his approach and keeps you wanting more. I look forward to our weekly lessons and best of all I can now play a few pieces to my delight.

Andrew is kind, knowledgeable and encouraging. He sees the individual in my child and paces lessons accordingly. He also fills the half hour with age-appropriate intellectual musings (about composers, pianos, etc.) and vocabulary,, so the experience feels really full and valuable. Not only that, but he plays for her (for us) upon conclusion of the lesson. A joy.
