- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Transparency and clear communication about pricing are essential in establishing a trusting relationship with my client's. Here's what you should know about my pricing: 🟡 Base Rates: My pricing typically starts with a base rate for specific services such as dog walking, house sitting, or other care options. 🟡 Additional Services: If you require additional services, such as multiple daily visits, specialized care (e.g., bathing), or home-assistant services such a grocery shopping, cleaning, or meal prep, these services may come with their own fees, which will be discussed and agreed upon in advance. 🟡 Referrals: If you refer a friend who books a service with me, I'd love to give you both a 10% discount as a gesture of my sincerest gratitude! 🟡 Discounts: I offer a 10% discount to active duty service members and veterans, for overnight stays of more than 7 nights, and any time you book and pay for 7 or more services in advance. 🟡 Travel Fees: I travel up to 1.5 hours for overnight stays and up to 45 minutes from Nashua for walks and drop in visits. If you live outside of this service area but would still like to book with me, a small additional fee will be discussed and agreed upon priori to your service to cover the time and expense of reaching your home. 🟡 Holiday and Peak Periods: Rates may vary during holidays or peak periods when demand is higher or travel is more complicated. These rate changes will always be clearly communicated prior to booking a service, but you are always more than welcome to ask if you're planning ahead! 🟡 Cancellation Policies: A 25% deposit is required to book your service. This deposit is refundable up to two weeks before your service. 🟡 Payment Methods: I accept various payment methods, including cash, credit cards, Venmo, Zelle, and Paypal. I believe in fair and competitive pricing, and my goal is to provide high-quality pet care that fits your budget while ensuring the well-being of your furry family members. I'm always open to discussing pricing and helping you find a plan that suits your needs. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions or require clarification on pricing or fees. Your peace of mind and your pet's happiness are my top priorities!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new client, I follow a thorough and customer-centric process to ensure both you and your furry friend are comfortable and satisfied with my services. Here's a typical outline of how I approach it: 🟡 Initial Conversation: We start with an initial conversation via messages here on Thumbtack. This is an opportunity to make sure we are a good fit for us to get to know each other, discuss your pet's needs and preferences, and address any questions or concerns you may have. 🟡 Meet and Greet: Once we've determined we are a good fit, we will schedule a meet and greet in your home so that you and your furry friend can meet me and I can get to know the specific's of taking care of your pet. This helps establish a rapport and allows me to understand their behavior and special requirements. 🟡 Booking Your Service: Once we have met and confirmed that we are ready to move forward, you'll book your service with a minimum deposit of 25% of your total service cost. This guarantees my availability on the dates you need me to care for your pet. This deposit is refundable up to 2 weeks before your service dates, should your plans or needs change! 🟡 Prior to Your Service: Between the time of booking your service and the date(s) I'll be caring for your pet, I encourage open communication and would love for you to reach out any time you have questions. I usually respond within 24 hours, maximum! Within 48 hours or so of your service, I'll reach out via text to confirm arrival and departure times and check in to answer any last questions you have. At this time, you'll also pay the remaining balance for your service if you have not already. 🟡 During Your Service: You can expect regular updates, including photos and messages, to keep you informed about your pet's activities and well-being. I'm also very easy to reach, so if you need to contact me while I'm caring for your pet, please don't hesitate to reach out! 🟡 Long-Term Partnership: My goal is to establish a long-term partnership, where you and your pet feel confident and comfortable with the care provided. I'm here to offer consistent, reliable, and loving care for your furry family member.
