Hi, I'm Steve from Perfect Painting, I've been a detailed Painter for over 20 years, been painting all over the world, including the Bahamas (Atlantis Paradise Island),also did lots of work on condos and homes in South Beach Miami , I take great pride of my work and treat your house the way I want my house to be treated, (su casa as me casa)also does lots of Handyman services including pressure washing, installing baseboards heater properly to walls, pictures hanging, installing cabinets also painting them.I do not work in New York.

Steve and his crew came to paint the interior of my home. They were very personable, punctual and professional. I identified 2 other projects that I needed done and they were able to tackle those jobs as well. They did a great job painting, installing backsplash in the kitchen and installing a door to my home office. I identified an area in the kitchen related to the backsplash and he did not hesitate to schedule a day and time (on his day off) to come back over and address it and make it right. I look forward to hiring him and his team to come out for future projects. They come highly recommended.

Had a HVAC return leaking onto my sheetrock causing mildew and mold damage. My apartment complex, Residences at Main located in Trumbull wanted to sweep the issue under the rug and not remove the sheetrock but rather "paint over it." As someone with a documented Medical severe mold allergy, this was not an option. I contacted Steve, told him the situation and within an hour he drove from Waterbury to Trumbull with one of his guys, removed the sheetrock around the return and replaced it with a larger return vent JUST IN CASE the unit continued to leak. He advised to not replace the sheetrock just yet, wait to see what happens over the next 48 hours. THANK GOD I listened to him b/c a few hours after they left, once I turned the AC unit back on, BOOM IT'S LEAKING AGAIN! Steve is amazing truly, he knows his stuff and he truly cares about his customers. He knew what a dire situation I was in and didn't take the opportunity to overcharge kme either. He made sure to document the issue and send me a receipt explaining explaining exactly what he saw. I am actually going to be hiring him to paint my bathroom since the bathrooms are flat paint, ANOTHER BREEDING GROUND FOR MOLD! Steve is the best....thank you for coming to my rescue!

Steve and his crew were courteous, prompt and paid attention to detail. I would rate the quality of their work as above and beyond any painter I’ve hired in the past. Steve was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The painting of my ceilings and walls came out beautifully and my home was left nice and neat after the work was done. Steve is incredibly responsive and communicative, he responded within 10 mins when I put the inquiry into Thumbtack and had great communication with us throughout the whole project, something that we appreciated very much. He painted quite difficult spaces - stairwell with ~16 ft walls + a large wall that is ~24 ft tall. The popcorn ceiling removal he did (2 rooms) looks smooth, the red paint, he painted over you could never tell was there. He was very patient with painting over some major blotches on a wall, and kept painting until you couldn't see them anymore (which required about 4 coats). He was also great about coming back for touch ups. Highly recommend.

Had a wonderful experience working with Steve and team for my kitchen cabinet refinishing/ painting project. In addition, I had an open space below my oven where I wanted to install cabinet door to use the space. Steve took care of everything very professionally; couldn’t have been more pleased in terms of how he handled it and the final quality outcome. Thumbtack allows me to select only three parameters for rating but he excels in all of the parameters. Would love to partner again on future projects with Steve.
