Introduction

I have been a tennis instructor for about ten years after having a successful high school and college tennis career. I am very flexible with the day of the week as well as the time of day, and I can easily travel to the closest location for you. I have many years of experience teaching tennis to all ages and levels. The rate is $80 per hour, and the total hourly price is the same if you add friends to the lesson. (If you have four participants, it would be $20 each per student) I love playing and teaching the sport of tennis, and I hope I can have the opportunity to be your instructor! I started tennis about 5 years ago in college. Most of my tennis was self-taught, supplemented with YouTube videos, and much of my practice time was trial-and-error based, aided by a video camera. In the past 2 years I've been trying to shore up my game so I can play at a competitive level. But my work schedule does not leave much time to drive out to private tennis centers for instruction. I needed someone who could work with improving my game at a personal level, but was also willing to work with me for scheduling. Tom provides the coaching I've been lacking. He has played competitive tennis for many years, and has a very sound understanding of the game. He explains things well in detail, and patiently answers any questions or doubts I have. I report to him after my matches and we analyze what I need to work on, to always have a lesson plan. This keeps our lessons interesting and productive. It's been a pleasure to work with Tom to improve my tennis game.

I love my tennis lessons with Tim. I have made definite improvements from being a complete beginner. There is still a lot of work to be done but I am determined to make it to the pros by next year. Kidding on that last part. I love Tim's positive attitude and schedule flexibility and I definitely recommend him to anyone who want to improve their game.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer the same $75 hourly rate if you have a solo lesson or a group lesson. (If you have 3 students together, the $75 cost can be split $25 per student) I'm also flexible with the price if you buy several lessons in advance.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every tennis student is different. I have a variety of drills for all skill levels, and I can customize a lesson plan for each individual depending on what they want to work on.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a team captain for my high school and college teams for 5 years, and I led training sessions for the new players on the team. I have experience in training brand new players and advanced players of all ages.
