- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is per hour, I also have special pricing for any 501 3C, non-profit booking an event with me. I have a 2 hour minimum per event. I can paint: 8-12 guests per hour for quick full faces includes glitter 6-10 guests per hour for more detailed full faces includes glitter 15-20 guests for simple cheek art only no glitter or glitter tattoos only no art. For custom photo ready, specialty party faces with extreme detail and applications max 2 per hour (think high end masquerade or prepared for theater or professional video)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I reserve a calendar date for a new customer, I take a few moments to gather all the details, ages of guests, how many guests, type of event, any concepts or themes, location, and particularly indoor or outdoor queries. I must have a phone number, full name of event coordinator, email and location of event as well as 50% of the agreed upon price as a non-refundable deposit applied to the event or a future event. payments can be remitted through the emailed invoice sent securely through Square which allows you to pay with debit or credit and add gratuity. At the event, I can accept Square (open existing invoice on your phone and pay) Paypal, Venmo or cash for the balance, and payment must be submitted before FacepaintingbyCarina leaves. Gratuity is not included and greatly appreciated.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Art from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, and have been face painting for over 12 years.
