Here's an update on my late review This was one of the worst experience I've ever had with a company. The day before service, they send me a text not a call but a text saying they cannot make the agree upon time that we arranged a month prior because an employee was sick. I could not cancel because I had to be out of my apartment in two days so I had to accept the new time. So agreed on 1PM. The day of service I receive another text saying. They cannot make the agree upon time ,that they will be late , And never gave me A new time when they will arrive. She only said we're going to be late. We'll get there when we can. They really inconvenience my whole day, In the building I live in. There is no moving after 7 PM. This company Arrived 4 hours late, which was 545pm . According to our contract, I paid For 2 hours of service so since they arrived so late i only had them move a few big items for me and I had them out by 645. According to the contract. Anything under 2 hours you receive your deposit Back. It's been 2 weeks now and I've never received my deposit. They stopped answering my calls, text and emails. I feel like I been scammed.

Jermaine we have spoken with you about this in great detail a few times so let me explain this to you again. We moved you on a Saturday our billing department is not in on the weekends. My office was closed on election day. Your refund was issued on a Wednesday. You have to count business days so your weekend days do not count and also we had a bank holiday which is Veterans Day so you cannot count that day either. It all depends on your bank most banks take 7 business days, you’re not there yet so you don’t have to do all of this it’s not necessary. You’ve been calling us and emailing us threatening us and making up untrue things all this needs to stop. Your refund of $75 was issued. We are a very ethical company not one person ever said we didn’t refund their deposit that’s absurd. If we did what you are saying we wouldn’t be in business and we wouldn’t be allowed on platforms. Please be patient you should be receiving your refund by Monday.

If you want to be treated like a criminal and told that your concerns don’t matter then this is the right company for you. If I could give zero stars I would. I’ve never had such a bad experience in my life. Arrived 2 hours and 15 minutes late. No logo on the truck, no ramp or proper dolly. No power drills, just a little tool box of screw drivers and such. When the movers first came in, they reeked of marijuana. It took them 6.5 hours to load 1 bedroom into the truck. Then when I noticed many of my things were damaged, I said to them that they told me they were insured so they can fix or replace my items correct? I was supposed to get a call from a field manager. I didn’t get one until after they left without saying a damn word. I am missing things and not all of the screws and parts of my things they took apart are present. I had no opportunity to check their truck so for all I know they still have some of my things. I can only go through so many things. I’m still checking to see what’s missing. The “manager” was extremely rude. Stating I had ill intent. Stating I refused to sign a blank paper stating they could charge me “X” amount. I said I didn’t want to sign a blank amount. If we could figure out the final amount and then sign, or if they want me to sign it to at least let me keep the paper until I can put a final amount. Because honestly, you never know in the world today, they could take the blank signature and put in any amount they want. But apparently they took that as a “refusal” and left without saying a word. The manager was berating me and performed zero effort in trying to make good on how the move was handled and my damaged things. So I paid 1,400 for an incomplete job, to feel belittled, unimportant, and unprotected as a customer. Along with several of my things damaged. I highly recommend not using this company unless you are willing to dish out a huge amount of money for your things to be broken and feel absolutely terrible about yourself for how this company treats you. The pictures I attached are only a few of what they have damaged. There is significantly more.

To start, I never talked to anyone in person all done through text which I found weird but it worked. They were an hour late. They did call, but it still messed up my plans. I had a queen bed, patio round table and two chairs, two cribs, two dressers and a mirror, 2 small storage cabinets, a tv and tv stand and about 15 - 20 boxes. When I talked to Leslie she said they charge by the hour and it looked like a three hour move. After 3.5 hours they had only moved about 10 boxes and a quarter of the furniture. I messaged Leslie and told her they were slow. She told me they were professionals and very experienced. One didn’t know what to do, kept dropping my furniture and disappearing. At one point I went downstairs and saw my stuff all over the driveway if my building unattended. After 4.5 hours they had not put a thing in the truck. They also smelled of marijuanna. I went back down shortly after and they were all sitting around and when they saw me they started grabbing items and going to the truck. At the half way point you pay before they unload. They charged me for an extra hour and what should Have been a 3.5 hour move cost 1,070 at the half way point. I should have had them unload because when they got to my new house they damaged my newly painted walls, cabinet stairs. Broke a mirror leg, did not bring the screw to put my bed back together and left the plug to the tc behind. I have moved 15 times in the last 10 years this was by far the worst. In addition the move was on Friday and I’m still waiting for the company to call and the only number I have is Leslie who won’t give me a number to call. They also broke a fragile box with mail polish in it. I asked them where the box was ciasw the nail polish was on another box and they refused to tell me where it was and hid it on my white counter tops. They also told me to wash my walls and it will fix the damage. They also lied about breaking the leg of the mirror and they left a ton of screws on my driveway which would have caused a flat bad someone run over rhem. This company is a scam do not use them

Funny how you call us a scam but you skipped on paying the bill, then have the audacity to come here on this platform to badmouth our crew who dis great work for you! Your walls were not damaged but a little bit scuffed from sweat from the crew moving your big furniture through small stairways. We have never ran from responsibility, we are fully insured! And read our reviews we have taken care of any issue ever reported and proud to say there have been in fact too few to even mention. You didn’t get a phone call because you didn’t pay the bill, what you will be getting is the reflection of your actions on your credit report and or any other form of debt collection from us. You are the scam.

I wish I hired a different company. Fortunately for most people, their experience is much better with this company. I'm sure they will reply to this review and tell you how incorrect I am about my statements. However, my job clearly had too much complexity for the crew that I got (packing many items, moving from one apt to another in an assisted living facility). They did not seems to understand that it is impossible to place furniture in a small apartment, if you have already filled that space with piles of boxes. Management was great, until I had an issue. Then everything became my fault for being a difficult customer: -I should have raised concerns immediately when I was making final payment (after a long day of moving that did not go well, I had limited time and had to get to a child's Christmas concert, on the phone I told Leslie that I had a concern that I would like to follow-up on but did not want to delay making payment), -no one else had issues with this crew (although they choose to fire 2 out of the 3 movers, who had been with them for >6 months and been great for everyone else, because I was the second customer to complain about them and they could not risk a third customer complaining), -I am not a professional and I do not know what I am talking about (but I do know that it is impossible to place a couch where I huge, heavy, large pile of boxes are sitting; and, I can see the irregularity of a ceramic cup that has been encased in wrapping plastic versus a large box of irreplaceable knickknacks that have all been piled on top of each other; see picture); -billing was correct (but one-third of the three-person crew for my move did not arrive until 45 minutes after the start of billing, and this was never checked or corrected). When I did raise my concerns, albeit 5 days after the move, I never got a reply...it took many follow-ups due to people being out of the office, illness, and I'm not sure what else to finally get a response. They would not correspond in writing (via Thumbtack), so surely my limited availability by phone was a problem; however, on our last phone call I was yelled at. Job was at the beginning of December, company immediately agreed to a refund some of the charges when they finally responded to me in January...it is April and a refund never arrived. Also, FYI, while this is a family business, some ambiguous "management" is responsible for issuing the refund. They have no control over when a refund gets issued (that is what I was told in March). I held on writing a review in hopes that some part of this terrible move was redeemable, but it's been 4 months and I'm putting this behind me. Good luck - as I said - your experience will probably be better, there are many good reviews that suggest this will be the case, but consider someone else is there's anything more complex about your move (eg, packing).

One day I woke up to find that my dream house was now too big for me. I needed to move and that represented a huge challenge for me and a huge challenge it was! but from there, from a feeling of desperation; an idea was born. I hired my neighbors and after having completed my move it dawned on me that perhaps lots of people feel this way when faced with having to relocate. My neighbors work for St. John's 'till this day! and we have included other services like package delivery and Junk removal services for the convenience and benefit of all people.
