St John Junk Removal did a great job removing a large number of items from our basement and were very neat and professional. I would definitely hire them again. Two things to note - 1) aim to have them as their first job of the day. We were their last job for the day, and although they were expected to arrive between 3 and 4, they did not arrive until 6 due some very bad traffic and some wrong turns the truck took. 2) There was a big difference between the estimate provided by the photos I sent them and what the final quote was. While the final cost was probably fair, for those who are on a tight budget, I would definitely ask for an on-site estimate before committing to the job. I hope these comments will help others. Thanks St. John for a job well done.

I called for Junk Removal and they were there in just a few hours. They carefully removed all the junk and were kind enough to sweep up any debris that fell between the distance of pick up all the way to their truck. Very happy with the service and they definitely beat everyone else’s prices. Worth every buck!! Thanks for your wonderful service.

They did a very good job. Very responsive. Came out the same day and removed my furniture very quickly. In and out in 10-15 minutes. Price ended up being twice what I was quoted which would be the only negative thing I could say. But the service and punctuality was top notch!

The company responded very quickly. Communication was frequent with updates and status of arrival. Before removing anything, he had me walk through each area and identify exactly what needed to be removed. Once he had an understanding, they went right to work. They even swept my garage!!! Highly recommend!

The removal of my stuff went well, fast and efficient, however the final price was $150 over the quoted price for the same amount of items, plus tip!. If you provide a quote, you should stick to it. I needed the stuff gone, so I didn't argue, but I don't think I will use this company again.

Hi Brenda When you completed the questionnaire and sent it to us you selected that you had half a pick up truck so the price given to you was that for half a pick up truck. We cannot confirm the final price until we get on site and see what it is that we are picking up for removal. A customer cannot set the final price for a pick up. We don’t know how much space your item(s) will fill up until we get on site for the appointment. It does say that on your inquiry and on our profile on Thumbtack.

Our staff is composed of highly trained professional movers, drivers, and waste management workers. We invest and will continue to invest in professional training. To us moving, delivery and junk removal is more than just a way to make a living and provide jobs. To be of service to others is our mission and our way of life!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
One day I woke up to find that my dream house was now too big for me. I needed to move and that represented a huge challenge for me and a huge challenge it was! but from there, from a feeling of desperation; an idea was born. I hired my neighbors and after having completed my move it dawned on me that perhaps lots of people feel this way when faced with having to relocate. My neighbors work for St. John's 'till this day! and we have included other services like package delivery and Junk removal services for the convenience and benefit of all people.
