DJ Nate Slate is the perfect DJ and party MC for your next event. I was very particular about choosing the right DJ for my daughter’s 13th birthday party as we are a musical family and I wanted a vibe that would make teenagers of today get off their phones and dance. DJ Nate was the PERFECT choice. He spent time hearing about my ideas and wishes for the party and even gave me great ideas on how he could keep the kids engaged and day of he was on time and punctual and so easy to work with. The kids LOVED him, he included all of the requested songs I asked for that my daughter loved and had the kids and our family on their feet dancing all night! He worked with me as a partner through the party and made sure the theme of the night shone through and my daughter felt special and had a wonderful time. I would absolutely recommend DJ Nate for your next event for parties with guests of any age!

DJ Nate provided music for my outdoor wedding celebration for just under 50 guests. He was punctual and played music from the genres that we requested. He also was really good about taking requests. He did great job playing music appropriate for eating and socializing and music that got the guests up, dancing, and playing games. My husband I enjoyed ourselves and would book him again.

Where do i began, so i planned my 50th birthday party a year in advance. I went straight to the pros (thumbtack) did my research and found my DJ Nate Slate. i reach out and got an immediately response. I gave hime my details of wanted i wanted and he DELIVERED. I never met DJ Nate until my party but we been in communication for the whole year. When i tell you he was FIRE before the quest even came to the end of the party. He definitely kept the crowd on their feet and on the dance floor. My granddaughter had blast. she is only 3 years old and was on the dance floor ALL NIGHT. My guests are still talking about how good the music was. DJ Nate Slate, thank you sooooooooooo much for a wonderful evening. I will definitely be using your services again. We miraculously hired DJ Nate Slate just 10 days before our wedding (after our previous DJ went awol) and it was the BEST decision. DJ Nate is not only a great human being but excels at DJing and MCing. He listens to what you want, makes great suggestions without overstepping and MC's the perfect amount where it's effective but does not feel like you're at a baseball game. He reads the room well and knows how to keep the dance floor alive. Sooo many of our guests still talk about how great the music was at our wedding.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have different discounts to help lower costs for customers. Ask me about them! DJ services start as low as $400. I offer lighting at a minimum of $100 and "walking on clouds" fog for $250 and up.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I work closely with all customers. I offer as many ideas as I can think of to make the event extra special. I request the customers to provide me with details regarding the event, special songs or specific genres and their color scheme or party theme so I can coordinate my digs as well!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended college for audio engineering. I was a professional musician (a 90s rapper). I taught music production with the City of New York for over 10 years.
